I support a national initiative on infants and toddlers by writing about innovative, successful policies and programs that can be used as best practices for states and communities.

I am most proud of

I am most proud of my work in the Senate to bring national attention to the critical importance of the U.S. Census, the need for truly capable leaders in the Census Bureau, and the effects of undercounting in communities of color.

  • M.P.P., Brandeis University
  • Keough Best Capstone Award, 2016, representatives from Boston-area graduate schools presented their research, findings, and recommendations to the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration

When the day is done

I enjoy watching The West Wing, studying Spanish, and trying new foods, whether in a restaurant or in my own kitchen. I also moonlight as a Barack Obama historian and super fan.
