I am part of the team that monitors child welfare systems operating under federal consent decrees. I also work on the Youth Thrive initiative, which seeks to better support the development and well-being of youth involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.
I do this work because
I am dedicated to strengthening families and addressing the systemic and structural inequalities that many families face within the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.

My years as a foster mother and caseworker working to reunite families in Texas.
