Program & Research Assistant

She, Her, Hers

I support the work of the Policy Team by collaborating on projects to advance policies that support the workforce, immigrant families, and youth and families involved in the child welfare system. I also support the work of the Young Children and Families Team broadly in building equitable early childhood systems. On this team I mainly support the National Center on Parent, Family, Community Engagement, a Head Start technical assistance center. Our team develops resources and provides technical assistance that helps Head Start providers build partnerships with families.

I do this work because

I am an imaginative and creative person. I believe we have the power and the obligation to imagine and create a society that is safe and equitable for everyone.

When the day is done

I am usually strolling around or sitting outside with iced coffee. If not, I might be on a weekend trip to a new city, cooking, or rearranging my apartment.
