Taysha Milagros Clark
Program & Research Assistant
She, Her, Hers
I support an array of projects on the Systems Change team including Youth Thrive, a framework that uses research on adolescent brain development to promote well-being for older youth, and Expectant and Parenting Youth, an initiative focused on improving well-being outcomes for young parents; and conduct research on issues pertaining to youth, juvenile justice and systems change. I also assist with the monitoring of child welfare systems operating under federal consent decrees.
I do this work because
I am passionate about and committed to dismantling unjust and inequitable systems, believe in the power of community investment, grassroots organizing, and collective knowledge, and nothing brings me greater joy than to serve as a resource for others.
I am most proud of
An ongoing project analyzing the intersection of housing disparities with education inequities, and celebrating the resilience and resourcefulness of communities that have been disinvested.
