June 26, 2025
Related Areas of Focus: Early Childhood

This Guide provides ideas and steps parents can take as partners, advocates, and leaders to strengthen early childhood systems and improve outcomes for young children, from prenatal to age 8. The Guide encourages parents to reflect on their own leadership and advocacy goals. It helps parents find pathways and resources for how to engage and assess which opportunities are the best fit for them. While the focus of this Guide is early childhood systems, the insights are relevant for parents interested in other issues.
Partners for Change: A Guide for Parents on Strengthening Early Childhood Systems was created by the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP). The Guide was developed for the Early Learning Nation Collective, a collaborative of seven national organizations, including CSSP, working with over 500 local leaders in 50 communities.
