What We Work For

We bring anti-racist analysis to all of our work— based on our commitment to analyze, deconstruct, and reimagine systems that support all people.

One of the consequences of our nation’s history of systemic racism is that many public systems and policies cannot and do not meaningfully serve Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other historically marginalized groups.

Impact

Results and Desired Outcomes

We build strong coalitions and networks of leaders working towards and aligned on racial equity efforts.

We build the capacity of leaders within organizations and systems to strengthen their knowledge, skill, and competency to lead with racial justice.

We enhance organization and systems infrastructure to ensure anti-racist policies and practices guide decision-making in ways that improve outcomes for children and families.

Process

How We Do It

We work to achieve a racially, economically, and socially just society by developing and implementing anti-racist policies and practices with community and system partners.

Our racial equity and justice efforts are grounded in working with public systems, private organizations, philanthropy, institutions, and communities by leading them to confront their decisions, policies, and practices and examine how their influence can directly and indirectly harm—rather than help—Black, Latine, Indigenous, Immigrant, LGBTQIA+ and other historically marginalized groups.

We do this by embracing anti-racist, innovative, co-designed solutions that can affect real change at the system, structural, organizational and community levels.

Ultimately, this work is about ensuring the healthy development of all children, youth, and their families in the United States.
