Molly L. Dunn, JD

Senior Associate

Molly Dunn is a Senior Associate with the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP). She works with child welfare systems that have been prompted by litigation to improve policies, practices, and outcomes for children and families. As part of a team, Molly collects and analyzes data, leverages technical assistance, produces reports and engages with leaders, staff, and community partners to create positive and lasting systems change.

Molly has dedicated her career to improving outcomes for youth involved with the juvenile justice and dependency systems. As a provider of direct legal services, Molly has represented hundreds of children and youth in dependency, juvenile justice, education, immigration, family law and other proceedings. As a clinical instructor at Stanford and Loyola law schools, Molly has mentored and guided other advocates, and as a policy advocate, Molly has sought to remove systemic barriers and secure resources to help youth thrive. Molly holds a B.A. from Macalester College and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.
