CSSP has a specific approach to providing technical assistance (TA) that is based on long-standing work with public systems and community partners. Our TA focuses on achieving positive results for children, youth, and their families.
We have the capacity to provide a range of methodologies including:
- Strategic consulting;
- Racial equity training and facilitated conversations about race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression (SOGIE);
- Coaching; and
- Program design and development.
We apply an anti-racist intersectional frame to our work in the field and to our TA work with other organizations. The anti-racist intersectional frame is action-oriented and critiques society’s structures and its treatment of people and communities while providing a guiding approach for how to work towards a more just and equitable society. In our collaboration with organizations, we seek to build on existing capacity and knowledge, use data analysis to understand patterns and challenges, and always value community members as leaders and decisionmakers.
Through a collaborative process, our TA is designed to help organizations and communities build their skills and capacity to dismantle inequities in their organizations and in their work.
