Biography
Esi Hutchful is the Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP, where she works to advance the organization’s policy agenda to prevent children and families from becoming involved with the child welfare system, specifically through providing technical assistance to states and counties implementing legislation, and state/local efforts related to building and enhancing a prevention continuum. Esi also supports the economic and health justice policy work. Prior to joining CSSP, Esi was a Policy Analyst at The California Budget & Policy Center, a Research Assistant for Poverty Solutions at the University of Michigan, and served as the Development and Academic Marketing Assistant at The New Press, a non-profit publisher.
