I work primarily on Youth Thrive, serving as liaison to the New Jersey and Westchester counties and New York sites. I also coordinate Youth Thrive’s national network of exemplary initiatives, allies, and partners and develop tools and resources for improving policy and practice. With the New Jersey site, I am part of the federal Youth At Risk of Homelessness initiative to prevent future homelessness, build lasting relationships, and improve outcomes for young people (age 14+) who have been involved in the child welfare system.
I do this work because
I believe that we can and should do a better job of providing opportunities for all youth to fulfill their potential, build strengths and skills, and have access to the supports and resources needed to achieve their hopes and dreams.
I am most proud of
Learning from, engaging with, and supporting the personal and professional development of youth advocates and young leaders.
