This presentation provided community engagement strategies for sharing power and building allies to help advance work in the prenatal-to-three space. Presenters shared frameworks for community engagement which increase levels of impact, trust and communication as well as what it takes to create conditions for full engagement where all participants feel welcomed, supported, and respected for their unique contributions.
This issue brief is meant to provide community leaders and their partner organizations with a deeper understanding of the Promotor Model, including its purpose, history, and contributions to community capacity building efforts.
